All-Star Sports Training realizes the potential safety hazards of intense training programs and sport itself. Our initial evaluation session is designed to find biomechanical flaws, muscle imbalances, joint instabilities and faulty movement patterns. This allows our performance specialist to design a training protocol to correct each imperfection. When an athlete has finished our program, they can return to sport stronger, with less risk of injury.
All-Star Sports Training
NFL Combine Prep
The All-Star Program provides cutting edge NFL Combine training, coaching for pro scout day as well as season preparation for football players.
The All-Star Program utilizes the latest technology to analyze every aspect of each athlete’s Combine Training. The training involves two a day schedule that will address start technique for the 40-yard dash, as well as specific instruction in the short shuttle, L-drill, vertical leap, broad jump, 225 bench press and Wonderlic test preparation. Our extremely qualified staff will prepare your athlete for every possible situation at the NFL Combine or their Pro Day.
While in training, your athlete will participate in a vigorous workout program, mock interviews and practice testing situations. Our players have a rigorous morning to night program; when the player is not working out his body, he is working out his mind, practicing the exact tests and interviews the player will see throughout his career.
Our knowledge of what will occur at the combine aids us in helping our athletes stand out and perform their best. The difference between a second and fourth round pick is almost $1,000,000 in guaranteed money. Don’t let your athlete be drafted in the fourth round when we can help them get drafted in the second.
The experience at The All-Star Program is first-class. Your athlete is preparing for an extremely demanding job interview. If you want to take .3 off a 40, come to All-Star. We set our goal to ensure your athlete reaches full potential. Speed Development
Each athlete will undergo comprehensive running analysis utilizing the same state-of-the- art digital analysis software that is used at the Olympic games. All-Star uses this software to analyze 10, 20 and 40-yard dash technique, as well as L-Drill and Short Shuttle technique to develop our athletes to their fullest potential. We are unmatched in our ability to analyze and critique small movement flaws that hinder performance.
Explosive Power
The All-Star Program utilizes specialized plyometric and neuromuscular training techniques to increase first step explosion, lower leg power, Short Shuttle, L – Drill, vertical leap and broad jump performance. Our plyometric routines use various patterns to achieve multi-directional explosive power
Increased Strength
All-Star will design individualized total body strength routines tailored to each athlete’s needs: whether they need to put on weight or take it off our strength coaches will get it done. Our weight routines will focus on the type of strength and energy system that is stressed on their workout day. The All-Star Program’s descending time interval 225 bench press routine has yielded some amazing results. The 2006 combine class added an average of 6 reps to their 225 max, with one athlete increasing his mark by 10 reps and another by 9 reps.
Position Drills
Each athlete will receive weekly sessions on the position specific drills that are performed at Indianapolis and most Pro Days. This translates into a huge advantage for our athletes due to the fact that they know exactly what drills are going to be thrown at them. Position drills have become more and more important in recent years and must be performed at a high level. Our Performance Specialists and current and past NFL players and coaches will show them exactly how to do that.
